Autumnal Syrencot Wedding
Many of my couple’s worry about how the weather is going to impact their special day. I hope this autumnal wedding blog put’s your mind at rest and shows that rainy weddings can still be stunning! Did you know, rain on your wedding day brings good luck! And is a sign of a strong marriage. In some cultures the spiritual meaning of rain on your wedding day is because it is difficult to loosen a wet knot. So when you ‘tie the knot’ on your wedding day, the bond between the couple is stronger and longer-lasting. This autumnal Syrencot wedding had rain all day, not that gentle misty rain but full on downpours ALL day. Not phasing my lucky couple one bit. Syrencot is probably one of Wiltshire’s best wedding venues for rain as the venue is flooded with natural light. The rain only added an element of fun as guests grabbed umbrellas and dashed through Syrencot’s walled gardens.
Romantic Wiltshire Wedding Venue
‘Romance running wild’ is Syrencot’s tagline as it’s clear to see the beauty of this Wiltshire wedding venue as soon as you drive down it’s driveway in the depths of rural Wiltshire’s countryside. The venue impressed me so much, that I got married here myself back in August 2021 (originally supposed to be June 2020 – cheers covid lockdowns!).
I joined the bride with some of her family whilst she got ready for her autumnal Syrencot wedding in their gorgeous Billiard Room. This stunning room for specially designed for bridal preparations. Beautifully decorated in calming tones, it had lots of space to hang dresses, multiple dressing tables with mirrors and my favourite element – loads of natural light!
My bride and groom wanted their photography to be relaxed and natural. Their aim was to have a celebration filled with lots of fun. The very talented John Prescott vocalist sang during the drinks reception to really add to the occasion, and then later as everyone hit Syrencot’s dance-floor.
