After a wonderful Christmas and New Year I have finally got round to blogging this absolute stunner of a wedding day! This beautiful day was the last of my own wedding’s of 2016 and it was definitely a feast for the eyes! Hollie and Dan arranged to meet me and chat about their Whitchurch wedding plans at Dan’s Auntie’s Home. I could tell straight away their wedding day was going to be stunning, upon arriving at the impressive Roundwood Estate I was greeted with gorgeous landscaped gardens, koi ponds, bridges, and the most beautiful views across the estate – it could easily be mistaken for a french chateau.
Despite a little afternoon shower, Hollie & Dan’s wedding definitely did not disappoint! The sun soon came out after we returned from their Whitchurch wedding ceremony at Saint John Fisher Church, which meant we were able to make the most of the gorgeous house and grounds at Roundwood Estate for all our photographs. The happy couple and their guests then found their seats in the beautifully decorated house to enjoy a delicious meal by Red Cherry Catering – a local wedding caterer in Dorset who I would highly recommend! Myself and my second shooter Matt Hardy managed to steal the couple away from their guests to take some creative couple portraits during the last few minutes of sunshine. After a performance by a group of local singers, we then all made our way down the fairy-lit path to the black barn where the Groom and his Brother’s set up their band and everyone partied the night away! We had a fabulous time and thank you again Hollie & Dan for inviting us to capture your beautiful day!
