Victoria & James

I never thought I’d be photographing my first wedding of the year in August – but what a beauty of a day it was! Victoria contacted me during lockdown to discuss her Luccombe Farm Wedding Photography. Having postponed their wedding day in France, Victoria and James planned on tying the knot with just their nearest and dearest in the stunning grounds of James’ parent’s holiday cottages. Luccombe holiday cottages have beautiful, unspoilt countryside views, are secluded and peaceful. A brilliant choice for their outdoor Dorset wedding. It was a relaxing morning with Frances Moore Hair & Makeup helping Victoria get ready. The perfect, finishing touch was the gorgeous necklace James had bought as a wedding day gift to his Bride.

Outdoor Dorset Wedding

The weather was forecast to rain, but luckily we managed to have the ceremony outside and a lap in the rowing boat before the rain started. A couple of minutes of rain (which is good luck on your wedding day) then quickly cleared to a beautiful day. After sheltering in the barn we could then use the gardens and amazing views for some group and couple photos. I then captured some relaxed, candids as the happy couple and their guests enjoyed a toast. They cut their cake and then I left as they all sat down to enjoy their wedding breakfast. Thank you Victoria & James for having me capture your special day and hope you have an absolute ball at your french reception next year.
