It’s currently a freezing day in January so to remind myself of the sun, I have been looking back at my sunny spring/summer weddings of 2017. One of the most unexpectedly glorious weather weddings was Lily & Craig’s on Easter Sunday with Careys Manor Wedding Photography by Rachel Elizabeth Photography. Lily and Craig chose to get married at this lovely venue because next door is Brockenhurst College, which is where the couple first met whilst both studying plumbing many years ago.
Lily, her mum and bridesmaids, all got ready at Careys Manor. The bridesmaids looked beautiful in mint green lace-up dresses, which suited them all perfectly. Lily wore a stunning strapless lace dress and really did look like a true princess. I was excited to hear that Owen from Little lillies would be creating lots of gorgeous floral art for the day. Lily’s and her bridesmaids bouquet were so exquisite – a mix of airplants (my new favourite item in the world), minty green hues and delicate pink roses! The bride and groom were married underneath a walkway of branch arches, decorated with more air plants and greenery. You can see this and the rest of his fantastic work in the images below. You can also see their amazing wedding cake by Cake Luxe, which featured the best tasting carrot cake that I’ve been lucky to try! The ceremony and drinks reception was accompanied by the wonderful sound of a saxophone. The music was a lovely touch whilst everyone was enjoy the sunshine and sipping a few drinks on the lawn. Lily and Craig’s Careys Manor Hotel wedding day was a great day, which was filled with so many happy moments – one of the highlights being Lily and her father’s dance off!.
I hope you enjoy looking through these images. To view the rest of this special day or to order any prints, please contact the bride and groom for the gallery password.
